These new jigs are constructed with a light chamber built right into the body and are extremely effective during those low light conditions and all through the night. At 7 oz. they have enough weight for you to effectively jig for Tuna with heavy line, in strong currents, on a fast drift and when Tuna are running deep. Yet light enough to use for Striped Bass, Grouper, King Mackerel and all other game fish you find in shallower water.
The body of the jig is an extremely hard lead and bismuth alloy, which resists denting and chipping where peeling of jig finishes start. Furthermore, they are base powder coated for the most durable coating available. The light sticks are custom manufactured for TGT and press firmly into the body of the jigs with supplied compression rings. They glow brightly for over 8 hours and typically have an effective nightglow for as long as 24 hours. The jigs and light sticks are offered in three proven fish catching colors. Hot Pink, Chartreuse and Yellow. They are also highly effective during the day due to their lifelike profiles. Just save the light stick inserts for another time.
