The New Guy Cotten Tongass Jacket replaces the popluar Icelander Jacket. Guy Cotten is using a new Wind proof and Water proof fleece.
The new fleece is a windblock fleece from Polartec which weighs 9.7gr/sq yard. It is as warm as the previous fleece, it blocks 100% of the wind thanks to a breathable laminate which is protected by a layer of fleece on each side. The tests have shown that this fleece is as water resistant as the hardface windpro. This windblock fleece from Polartec is not a new product and the history and tests show that the laminate keeps all its properties after many washes.
The Neoprene cuffs are no longer in the sleeves but are now attached on the outside of the sleeves. The jacket now has PVC on the lower back part of the jacket.
